MICROSOFT CRM REQUIREMENTS
Microsoft Dynamics CRM is designed for rapid implementation, with centralized server-side
installation that ensures faster deployment, easier maintenance, and more
straightforward upgrades. Microsoft CRM can be run using a single server configuration
for smaller deployments or in a multi-server configuration for deployments supporting
hundreds of system users. Microsoft CRM provides a scaleable framework to cost
effectively achieve your businesses CRM objectives.
System/Software Requirements Overview
Microsoft CRM is built upon the following industry standard software programs:
Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Windows Active Directory Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and
Microsoft BizTalk.
Browser Client
Microsoft CRM Browser Client Software Requirements: Microsoft Windows, XP, VISTA,
Microsoft Windows 2000 (Server or Professional), or Microsoft Windows XP
(Professional or Home).
Microsoft CRM Server
Microsoft Windows 2003 Server (or Advanced Server)
The following services are also installed:
- Microsoft Message Queuing
- Indexing Service
- Internet Information Services
- Microsoft Data Access Components
The following components are required and are installed during Microsoft CRM installation:
- Microsoft XML Core Services
- Microsoft .NET Framework
The computer running Microsoft CRM must also have access to computers in the same Active Directory Domain running:
- Microsoft SQL Server. Microsoft CRM may co-exist on the same computer as Microsoft SQL Server (appropriate for up to 50 users).
